Green Ambassadors

Service Learning in Action

The core of Green Ambassadors youth-driven programming is for youth to be trained in the solution and be ambassadors for the initiative. Green Ambassadors are trained to be sustainability experts in systems thinking (permaculture), composting, water conservation, food, energy, and life-style/localized community.

For each solution the students, in the essence of project based learning, the Green Ambassadors formulate teams, to create a service learning project called an Earth Positive Event.  All Earth Positive Events might include the following depending on how many teams are in the Green Ambassador class.  Each of the following links you to a student example:
